Course Overview
Musculoskeletal pain resulting from pathophysiological processes or associated with
daily activities, as well as recovery or increased efficiency in motor performance, are the
contexts that underlie the course "Massage and Neuromuscular Bands".
The non-pharmacological therapies developed in the course are emerging in the areas
of health and sports, with an urgent need for studies to prove their effectiveness.
Themes:
Massage Fundamentals: modalities, massage physiology and therapeutic applications.
Neuromuscular bands: Fundamentals and principles of application.
Pain physiology: Pain syndromes.
Methods and techniques for diagnostic evaluation, intervention, and evaluation of results.
