Goals:

• Acquire knowledge and skills that promote and support Breastfeeding in accordance with WHO / UNICEF guidelines

- Can apply knowledge and ability to understand and solve problems in situations discussed in the classroom;
- Communicate knowledge and reasoning to judge in future more complex situations;
- Develop skills that allow you to act autonomously in breastfeeding situations.

Teaching Methods

The methodology will be active implying strong (co) accountability of the master. The expository method, the problem solving method and the self-reflective method will be used. Critical thinking will be encouraged, through the use of cooperative learning strategies, presentation and discussion of cases, in order to stimulate critical thinking, oral expression and problem-solving skills.
Continuous assessment will include discussions of theoretical-practical situations, a grid of previously defined criteria will be used to assess these and the realization of an individual formal moment. The final grade results from the average of the two evaluation moments. Exams are carried out in accordance with the academic regulations.
