- Promote understanding of socio-cognitive processes that underlie the way, on one hand people affect the environment (natural and built) and on other hand, how they are influenced by the environment.
- Promote the competence analysis, intervention and application of theories and concepts to understanding and solving social and environmental problems.
- To train future psychologists to participate and include a level of psychological explanation in works of multi-disciplinary teams targeted for environmental studies.

Teaching Methods

Expository methods and active methods, including analysis of cases by watching movies and reading text and description of events with environmental and social impact. And yet the critical analysis of scientific articles.
Continuous assessment includes (1) work group presentation and critical analysis of scientific articles (50%); (2) work group presentation of a research Project (50%).
Final Evaluation: (1) individual work presentation and discussion of scientific article (50%) (2) Individual work proposal of a research project (50%)
