- Acquiring stage skills from characterization to composition and the various requirements of a collective production

Contents

The work will be based on a play of major repertory authors worldwide, to be staged through dramaturgical analysis and stage interpretation.

2 – Interpretation:
From ideas to the stage:
On the choice of an artist/researcher - any worldwide reference, e.g. Stanislavski, Michael Chekov, J. Grotowski, B. Brecht, Peter Brook, Augusto Boal, Eugénio Barba, Ann Bogart, et als.

Teaching Methods

1 Develloping theoretical and critical skills: Readings and discussion on historical, social and aesthetic context of the works and the author- Dramaturgical and semantic analysis, Possible adaptation of the play: dramaturgical cuts and/or insertions, Character analysis and debate
Bringing personal insights to a short paper 4/5 pgs
2 Interpretation: From ideas to the stage: On the choice of an artist/researcher - any worldwide reference, their insights will be taken to the practice of specific acting and directing approaches.
3 Rehearsals: Incorporating the text, space and blocking; Develloping and criating the character with the set, costumes and props.

4 The Performance: doesn’t have to be a show with all the conventional requirements
