This curricular unit intends to monitor the evolution of the investigative process with a view to the timely production of the thesis.

Learning Goals

1. To implement a research journey, based on a previously submitted and validated project;
2. To monitor the evolution of the investigative process, aiming the timely production of the thesis;
3. To produce Follow-Up Reports, related to the development of the thesis;
4. To present, public and regularly, the results of the ongoing research.

This CU do not have a specific program. The contents are diverse, within the scientific field of the Sciences of the Education and in the specific domain of the investigation carried out by each student, according to the themes of each of the research projects in development.

Teaching Methods

The monitoring of students will take place in tutorial sessions, in the context of the individual processes of scientific supervision by the mentors / the each project / student. If possible, the creation of learning communities will be encouraged, namely among students with close interest in research.
In each semester, there will be two public sessions, in which the students will present a point of situation of their research work.
The final evaluation will take on a qualitative dimension, according to the Academic Regulation of the University of Évora.
