The organization of sporting events are currently of great and growing importance, reflecting social, economic and media highly significant local, regional and national levels, implying a process of planning and implementation of multiple actions of high complexity.

Objectives:
a) Provide the students with the knowledge needed to sort, organize, organize, finance and assess the legacy of sporting events;
b) Provide case studies of various sporting events.

4.1. Presentation of case studies relating to the organization of international sports competitions such as the European and World Championships and Olympic Games, among others.

Teaching Methods

The course is organized in lectures and tutorials, as indicated in the School Rules (REI) of the University of Évora. The lectures are plenary and based on scientific method, valuing the transmission of information, the interpretation of applied research results as well as a critical attitude and scientific rigor in students. Are provided 10 hours of lectures. In addition to the oral presentation is intended through questioning, check the acquisition of knowledge by students.

The final grade is the writing assessment, through a frequency, individual works or final exam. All students must obtain 9.5 at least, otherwise you will not successfully complete the UC.
