Teaching Methods

Teaching model centered on the student, with active pedagogical strategies, making explicit the connections between the curriculum and its applicability to real-world problems. Theoretical-practical classes include oral presentations, analysis and discussion of supporting texts, group discussion, and participatory debate on reflective-oriented topics. Guest participation includes professionals in the field and researchers in child play and physical activity. The approach involves observation and discussion of videos, situated learning in real contexts, project work focused on observation, reflection, and the development of action proposals in an educational context. A field trip to an outdoor children's play area is included, along with individual and/or group research guided by the instructor. Moodle will be used to facilitate the sharing of documentation and pedagogical resources, as well as bibliographies and work proposals for assessment.
