		     Course that addresses Mediterranean region plant species and communitys diversity recognition and its identification and typification.

	  Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
		  		      This course principal aim is the plant community diversity recognition and identification, based on the
phytosociological typology of Mediterranean region.
The objective is to deepen the knowledge of the Mediterranean flora in an ecological context, as well as, to
develop practical skills to use the phytosociological interpretation methodology at a landscape level.
It is intended that students develop the skills necessary to:
- identification of plant species;
- identification of plant communities;
- integration of ecological concepts;
- identification of high botanical interest areas;
- preparation of environmental impact studies;
- development of mitigation and/or recovery plans;
- communication and discussion of scientific results.
