Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
Provide students with the capabilities to:
- Employing univariate response models
- Interpret and use multivariate linear models of response.
- Use the Dimensionality reduction techniques based on new variables obtained at the expense of the original variables.
- Interpret the new variables and analyze the values of individuals in the new variables.
- Group or individuals, or groups variables.
- Use with comfortable Statistical Software (fundamentally SPSS).

Contents
Elementary concepts of the theory of matrices. The Multivariate Normal Distribution. Univariate analysis of variance. Multivariate Analysis of Variance. Non-Parametric Tests (Multivariate).Principal Component Analysis. Factorial Analysis. Cluster Analysis.
Teaching Methods
Theoretical and laboratory classes taught in the framework, with support of e-learning tools and use of acetates. Laboratory practices using the installed statistical software, fundamentally the SPSS.
Exercises directed to the area of the course in question.
Resolution of exercises proposed in class, either with the software installed on the University computers, or with the calculator and tables.
Assessment Methods:
Continuous evaluation: Two frequencies with a weight of 50% each in the final grade
Final evaluation: Normal exam and / or Exam of appeal. The final grade is the best of these exams
The final grade can still be weighted by the degree of participation in the classes, if the student is benefited.
