Teaching Methods

Given the practical content of the course, the lessons of this course will be taught in order to ensure a strong link between the transmitted theoretical knowledge and the demonstration of their applicability, for which we count on the collaboration of some entities responsible for the policies and main financing sources in Portugal, by conducting lectures at the University or by organizing field trips with students.
In this course there are two types of evaluation: Continuous evaluation and Evaluation by examination.
RA1- Continuous evaluation. In this type of evaluation, students should carry out the following tests: 1. An individual work presented and discussed in (60%); 2. An individual written test (40%).
RA2- Examination. The students must complete a written test (examination) at the end of the semester (100%).

Assessment

In accordance with the regulatory standards of the University of Évora, the assessment of this curricular unit comprises the following alternatives:

A. Continuous assessment regime
This assessment regime consists of group work (3 to 4 elements), within the scope of the curricular unit program, to be developed throughout the semester. The objective of the work is to develop a project as a team.
The evaluation components and respective weightings are as follows:
- Project dossier (common assessment for all group members): 60%;
- Individual report: 30%;
- Oral presentation (two moments): 10%.

B. Examination regime
This assessment system consists of an individual written test that covers the entire curricular unit program.
Note: In the case of students who prepared the group project dossier, this now assumes a weight of 50% and the individual test assumes equal weight.
