The course Research Methods in International Relations as the following objectives:
1§. Acquisition of knowledge in the specific methodological framework of International
Relations;
2§. Integrate the knowledge acquired in the research project with a perspectival drawing up
the Master's thesis in this area;
3§. Learn to master the main tools for research in International Relations;
4§. Help structure the thinking in a scientific way;
5. A. Contribute to the graduate student has the appropriate analytical theoretical and practical
basis for the preparation of his dissertation.

Teaching Methods
In the methodological framework is used four pedagogical models to consolidate the
knowledge and enhance the motivation of learners:
1. Theoretical analysis;
2. Practical sessions to discuss issues of development;
3. Exploration of subjects through reading texts and documents;
4. Teacher support in the consolidation of the study.
In the assessment one practical initiation of work on research is made between 5000 and 6000
words.
