5. To acknowledge latin language as part of European heritage, since Antiquity and beyond
6. To read and understand latin poetry
7. To learn about aspects of civilization gathered from the analyzed texts, and recognize its influence in various fields of European culture

1. Phonetics and Prosody:
1.1. Systematization of aspects taught in Latin I

2. Morphology:
2.1. Continuous revision of contents taught in Latin I
2.2.1 Nouns in i- stem, consonant stem, –u stem and –e stem
2.3. Adjectives
2.3.1. Third declension adjectives
2.4. Inflection of pronouns
2.4.1. Demonstrative pronouns: hic, haec, hoc; is, ea, id
2.5. Inflection of verbs
2.5.1. Subjunctive tenses of the four conjugations (active voice) and the verb sum
2.5.2. Nominal forms of tenses in the active voice
2.5.3. Passive voice of indicative tenses (for the four conjugations)

3. Syntax
3.1. Continuous revision of contents taught in Latin I
3.2. Subordinate clauses: how they are introduced and their function
3.3. Subordinate substantive and adverbial sentences
3.5. Ablative absolute
3.6. Expressions of design
3.7. Passive agent.

4. Literature
4.1. Selected poems from Martial and the Carmina Burana
4.2. Excerpts from late antique apocryphal literature
