Provide the student with the necessary knowledge so that, by applyingknowledge previously acquired in other UC, he/she can develop differential diagnoses, establish a diagnostic plan, the definitive diagnosis, define the therapy to be instituted, as well as the prognosis and appropriate prophylaxis.
Promote autonomous and inclusive learning capacities, through bibliography/bibliographic research; to develop group work capacities.
Allow the development of clinical reasoning through the follow-up of real clinical cases (within the scope of the External Consultation and HVUÉ), under the supervision of teachers and HVUÉ clinicians.
Promote, through its direct use within in the hospital environment, the familiarization of students with different means of complementary diagnosis most frequently used.
Promote communication skills, between peers and with the general public, and the development of ethical ethics in the professional sphere.
