Objectives: In specific terms, this curricular unit seeks to explore the structures concepts of the Strategy and to endow the students of the instruments more used in this domain of the knowledge. Thus, it is intended, in concrete, to develop the learning in two slopes:
- To transmit specific knowledge of global management, particularly on the formulation and implementation of strategies in the organizations;
- To facilitate the integration of knowledge acquired in other disciplines and to evidence as those knowledge can be very useful to the management Strategic.
Competences: To develop:
- Auto-organization and critical capacities and enterprising spirit;
- Analysis capacities and resolution of problems in the organizational context;
- To develop application capacities, synthesis, work in it equips, presentation writing and oral and of argument.

Teaching Methods
Alternative 1 - Continuous Assessment
The method of teaching "learning by doing " is used, that articulates:
- A writing test (50% for the final classification);
- Studies of Case, team work (20% for the final classification);
- Thematic works of group, of application to real or virtual organizations of the transmitted knowledge and acquired, supported by the educational, and presented in writing by the students (reports) and oral (30%);
The non-execution of work or an evaluation of less than 7 values, take the student to the exam regime.
Alternative 2 - Single Exam
The final score of each student results, directly and exclusively, from the ratings given a written test (individual) on all the subjects taught, to be held at the time of examinations.
