Teaching Methods

Students do Clinical Teaching in units/services, preferably with training suitability, by the Ordem dos Enfermeiros, supervised by Clinical Supervisors Nurses, preferably with increased skills in clinical supervision.
During the EC, two meetings will be held with the presence of the student, the nurse supervisor and the teacher every nine weeks. The evaluation will be carried out. The assessment is carried out through two moments of formal individual assessment : One of the moments evaluated as skills acquired in the context of Clinical Practice (CP) through an assessment instrument, the second moment is carried out through a Work Written (TE) subject to a grid of defined criteria. SMOG / SIP grade = 70% PC grade and 30% TC grade. Each student must have a grade higher than 9.5 in each of the SMOG and SIP areas on the PC to successfully complete the EC. UC final grade = (SMOG grade + SIP grade) / 2
