The Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (LEM) at the University of Évora integrates, in a cohesive way, knowledge and skills from the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, providing a solid and multidisciplinary education focused on the technological demands of modern industry. This training prepares students to effectively participate in the design, production, and maintenance of industrial systems and processes, with a practical approach oriented towards solving complex problems and fostering innovation.
With a 100% employability rate, LEM stands out as a program highly connected to industrial reality, encouraging active student participation in applied research projects, professional internships, and collaborations with companies and technology centers from the very first year. Starting in the third year, students can choose one of the following three specializations:
Automation and Robotics
Aeronautics
Energy
LEM shares part of its curriculum during the first two years with the following bachelor's degrees:
Aerospace Engineering
Renewable Energy Engineering
Industrial Management Engineering
This curricular overlap facilitates academic mobility between courses, allowing students, depending on their path and interests, to transition or complement their education in related engineering fields, promoting curricular flexibility and strengthening multidisciplinarity
