Learning Goals

Performing a theatrical performance from a pre-existing or non-existent text, involving differentiated skills of the students in all areas of the performance: selection of basic text, dramaturgy, conception of staging, definition of work methodologies, essays , plastic and technical performance of the show and public performances.
Application of the practical, theoretical-practical and theoretical knowledge developed during the course, developing in the student artistic abilities in one or more specific domains of theatrical work representation, staging, set design, dramaturgy.
The Direction / Staging of the Project of this discipline should encourage the more active participation of students in the areas of creation of the show (staging, performing the show and acting). Body, Movement and Voice training applied to the project (teachers, one from each area, must follow the development of the project.

Contents

1- Dramaturgy:
Dramaturgic analysis or dramaturgic adaptation of a non-theatrical text Development of the concept for the staging, set-design and costume-design etc.
2- Acting:
a) From ideas to the stage: exploring theatricality Improvisation
Theatrical game
b) The invention of characters
Context and circumstances
Creativity and individual potential in the actors
Exploring physicality
3- Rehearsals
Stage appropriation and blocking
Developing of character from set-design, clothes-design and props
Technical rehearsal (lighting and sound-design)

Teaching Methods

Analysis and / or dramaturgical adaptation and table tests.
Exercises of improvisation, creation of the character, memorization of the text.
Space marking and scene development
Run and technical essays in space with set design, costumes, light and sound

Evaluation:
- Assiduity, commitment and quality of participation - 20%;
- Seizure of contents, acquired skills and verified evolution - 20%
- Theoretical or daily reflection of the classes -10% (Optional; this% can be transferred)
- Mid-term evaluation (with the presence of jury): scenic presentation - 20%
- Final presentations - 30%
NB: each teacher should have a different percentage depending on the number of contact hours:
