Learning Goals

Anticipating the role of scientific supervisor and supporting the student towards its thesis.
Framing all tasks that allow the student work towards its thesis
Training the students on scientific oral presentation skills through the progressive seminar sessions with public audience.

General presentation of potential topics for dissertations
General objectives of the work program.
Experimental design and methodologies.
First results and data processing proposed.
Final evaluation of the structure and content: objectives, methodology, state of the art, literature review.

Teaching Methods

The evaluation becomes effective on the oral presentations (seminar) made by each student individually, along the several sessions successively happen during the semester.
The members of the jury conduct a public discussion where they review each proposal submitted by students, whether in an oral way (PowerPoint presentation) or in a brief, written report.
