Learning Goals

This course aims to develop a systematic understanding of areas of Human Kinetics, specifically looking for the student to acquire a high level of expertise in the area that is related to his thesis. In each area, students should develop an in-depth knowledge of the current scientific research, specific research methods and areas of activity and innovation. The specific objectives contribute to a specialized view of the current research in Human Kinetics, respective scientific issues, research models and experimental approaches, methodologies and techniques, applications and impact on modern society in the areas of interest of each student.

Contents

The CU seminar in Human Kinetics 2 consists of modules on different areas of research in Human Kinetics. These modules are organized into four areas of Human Kinetics:
- Exercise and Health;
- Psychomotricity;
- Sports Performance;
- Sports Management.

For each area, 5 modules are organized, for a total of 20 hours. The proposal form for each module will be annexed. Each student must choose a specific area, in which all of the conferences must be followed. To complete the remaining 20 hours of this course, students must select 5 conference in any of the other three areas. Enrolment in each conference will be held at the beginning of the semester.

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodology is the participation in the various modules presented by professors / researchers dealing on the area of research that develop. These seminars are not only an expository character but seek to promote interaction and discussion of the topics discussed among participants. The active participation of students will be stimulated through the presentation of existing work during the module, promoting discussion and enrichment of their practice through interaction with experts in specific areas. The student assessment is the development of a work synthesis of each of the modules, with enriched respective critical consideration.
