Dar uma panorâmica da actividade e pensamento de um dos mais notáveis físicos do século XX, aproveitando para tratar da passagem da física clássica à física moderna.
Conteúdos Programáticos
Give an overview of the activity and thought of one of the greatest physicists of the twentieth century, taking the opportunity to address the transition from classical physics to modern physics.
Métodos de Ensino
Consistirá o curso numa de sequência de seminários temáticos onde se procederá à apresentação crítica e à discussão de textos. Os estudantes devem apresentar dois ensaios sobre tópicos específicos constantes no programa. Dada a vastidão do assunto, os alunos concentrar-se-ão na análise de obras de autores que lhes sejam caros.
