This degree provides comprehensive training in Sports Sciences, preparing students for qualified intervention in three major areas: Exercise and Health, Sports Training and Physical and Motor Education.
With a broad-based training profile, the study plan promotes the development of skills for planning, prescribing, and guidance of various physical and sports activities. At the same time, students are trained to critically evaluate their professional practice and to implement measures that contribute to the continuous improvement of their intervention.
This degree also includes practices in specific contexts of Nature Exploration, as well as contents in the area of Sports Management.
In addition, graduates may have access to professional recognition as Sports Coach and Physical Exercise Technician, in accordance with current Portuguese legislation.
