The Integrated Master's Degree in Architecture at the School of Arts of the University of Évora provides excellent conditions for teaching architecture in Portugal and is situated within the context of a UNESCO World Heritage city, in a cultural and creative ecosystem where architecture and landscape are fundamental elements.
Endowed with a multidisciplinary study environment, this study cycle promotes teaching linked to professional practice - with a strong studio culture - and to research - based in research centers of recognized merit. Students and professors work together on project and research proposals, in facilities specifically designed for this purpose, unique in the national context. The master is recognized for the innovation of its approach to teaching/learning architecture and its integration into the landscape, with distinguished students, notably with the Archiprix, Secil, Lisbon Architecture Triennale awards and others, in several international competitions.
The initial study cycle (3 years) confers a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Culture, a level of training (6) that provides important preparation for carrying out activities related to architectural production. The final study cycle (2 years) confers a Master's degree in Architecture, a level of training (7) that allows access to the professional order and architectural practice.
The Integrated Master's program, in both cycles, has multiple partnership agreements with foreign universities, focused on scientific collaboration and the mobility of students and professors, fostering internationalization and mutual enrichment through the crossing of cultures and disparate ways of doing things.
