LifeSpan Chair

The LifeSpan Chair in demographic sustainability and health follows from the tripartite protocol between the University of Évora, the Espírito Santo de Évora Hospital, and Siemens, which establishes the support given by Siemens to the CORE laboratory (cardiovascular research laboratory).

This Chair will be funded over a period of 3 years for one Doctoral Degree and three Master degrees in areas that dovetail fields of knowledge such as medicine, public health, ageing and co-morbidities. Research in these areas is fully multidisciplinary and cuts across different areas of research of the university.
