Teaching Methods

In the teaching and learning of the curricular unit, the use of methodologies for student participation
in their learning process is recommended, thus seeking to contribute to the implementation of a
pedagogical model that focuses on each student's learning.
The use of texts, their discussion, participated individually and in groups, along with the constant
exercise of dialogue and contraposition of arguments will constitute the main methodological axis of
fulfilling points I to IV of the syllabus.
The last two points will allow us to especially test the use of digital resources, carrying out a survey of
information relating to a) types of philosophical texts, b) stages of philosophical investigation and c)
different standards for preparing works in Philosophy. Thus, the use of digital resources, which is
applicable at all times of the curricular unit, will have a more evident place in its more practical
dimension as a promoter of student’s learning.

Assessment

The assessment of learning in the curricular unit will be continuous and will include the following written
tests:
1st) completion of a reading sheet – 40%;
2nd) presentation of a final academic work – 40%.
The rate of attendance and level of participation of each student in classes is 20%.
