Comparative Politics applied to International Relations aims to enable the student to a better understanding of
systems, processes, models and the respective political developments, providing them with analytical tools
with an appropriate scientific methodology.

Case study analysis (themes 3 to 7)

Teaching Methods

The subject will be taught through theoretical and practical classes in order to consolidate knowledge and boost student motivation:
In the theoretical classes, the teaching models used are: 1. Lecture by the teacher, 2. Exploration of the subject through the interpretation of texts.
In practical classes, the teaching models adopted consist of: 3. Discussion of work in progress with the and the teacher, 4. Presentation and discussion of group work according to case studies.

Assessment

A. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT*
1. Group work [written part (30%) + oral presentation (20%)]: 50%
2. Written test: 50%
3. Attendance and participation in classes will be valued when weighting the final grade.

B. ASSESSMENT BY FINAL EXAM
1. Exam: 100%
