Summary

The SEAMLESS project aims at developing a computerized framework to assess and compare, ex-ante, alternative agricultural and environmental policy options. The project is funded by the EU Framework Programme 6 (Global Change and Ecosystems) and runs from 2005 till March 2009. The project is coordinated by Wageningen University (The Netherlands), with several teams and countries, as the team in the University of Évora.

Goals, activities and expected/achieved results

Criação e desenvolvimento do "Landscape Amenities Model", que procura estabelecer a ligação entre a procura social das paisagens rurais,por vários grupos de utilizadores e os padrões de ocupação de solo dessas paisagens.Espera testar-se este modelo,com aplicação de inquéritos,à escala regional do Alentejo,e através de consulta a "expert panels",na região de Auvergne,França.
