Exper- Seismology: Experiment for Learn

The project EXPER is oriented to the high schools Portuguese establishments through the availability of seismic observations, tools and experiences. For this, three national research groups specialists in Earth Sciences joined its to cooperate: seismologists of the Center of Geophysic of Évora/University of Évora, the Center of Geophysic of University of Lisbon and geologists of the Dept. of Geology of the Univ. of Aveiro. In the support to the development of resources and presentation of strategies for the diffusion of the scientific culture we usufruct of the contribution of the Center "Ciência Viva" of Estremoz as institution specialized in divulgation of Earth Sciences. The dynamics of this project is establishes in the creation and animation of an itinerant laboratory of seismology. The itinerant structure "lab. of seismology" will be presented with a set of scientific equipment and didactics prototypes adjusted to support the environmental education and scientific divulgation.
