Teaching Methods
The methodologies seek to confront the student with Aging, a natural and inevitable process, using statistical data and theoretical explanations. The exposition of the themes encourages participation, understanding about the responsibility of societies in EE programs. It is important to understand the interference of adverse variables in the NP, which weaken it by dependence. Understanding the phenomenon allows us to anticipate nursing care and change the trajectory. There is a close connection between UC and others, which occur simultaneously, such as MCN, RN and MHNP
There will be spaces for individual and group reflection, especially in TP classes, using group work techniques, reading and research oriented on themes, namely in databases to integrate scientific evidence into learning.

Assessment
Continuous assessment has two components: individual reflection and group work on a proposed topic, worth 40% and 60% respectively. All the provisions of the Academic Regulations relating to assessment apply. If students do not attend at least 75% of the theoretical-practical classes, they will not pass the course unit (Article 105).
To pass the course unit, students must obtain a minimum grade of 9.5 in each of the assessment components. The final grade is obtained by the weighted average of the following factors: Assessment of the theoretical component (60%) + Assessment of the theoretical-practical component (40%).
The assessment by examination involves a theoretical test focusing on the thematic content taught in the theoretical and theoretical-practical classes.
