Apresentação de um quadro histórico - temático de estética filosófica fundamental que oriente e propicie as capacidades de reflectir conceptualmente bem como de efectuar e descrever experiências fenomenológicas em torno de conteúdos e problemáticas nucleares com incidência na Paisagem, na Natureza e na Arquitetura Paisagista, como sejam:
- a transfiguração estético - perceptiva e fenomenológico - ontológica do espaço;
- a natureza e o belo natural;
- a natureza e a arte.

Contents

Aesthetics of Nature - The two unlimited 3rd Kantian Critique: a reflective way "without end" of the beautiful, the sublime inform and misshapen. The aesthetic sense as "free play of faculties" of the subject and the beauty of nature as a promise of reconciliation. Phenomenology of aesthetic space: the "image space" (J. Gil) and the "twist" Visible / Invisible (Merleau-Ponty) from Cézanne's to Kurosawa. The dialectic and irreducibility of beautiful natural and artistic beauty (T. Adorno). The beauty of the landscape as a vital experience. The aesthetics of materiality and experience of the landscape as opposed to artistic aesthetic.

Teaching Methods

Oral presentation conferences.
Tests, papers, critical reviews (individual and group). The weighting of the tests papers and individual critical review is 2 and group work 1.
