Teaching Methods
The development of the programme will take into account the specific age group (children) that the students are working with and the pedagogical-didactic implications of this.
Preferably, the first part of the sessions will cover content of a more conceptual nature. The second part of the sessions is aimed at a more functional and practical approach.
Audiovisual and technical resources will be used, with materials available on Moodle.
From the recommended readings, the teacher will select excerpts that he or she considers fundamental for clarifying concepts and grounding approaches in art education. At the same time, he will select some readings that will be compulsory, which means that they will be commented on and discussed by everyone in class; and they will also be the starting material for the assignments to be assessed (portfolio).
Outdoor sessions may be organised on dates to be agreed with the students, if the regional cultural dynamics (study visits, exhibitions, seminars)

Assessment
Assessment is based on continuous assessment, since only systematic attendance will enable students to acquire the fundamental competences for mastering and handling the didactic-pedagogical aspects of plastic expression and artistic education in the visual arts.
Attendance of 75 per cent of the number of sessions actually taught will be considered.
The final grade will be given by the formula:
NF= (0.50*A)+(0.30*B)+(0.20*C)
A) 50% - Assessment of the practical work carried out (individual presentation with an image; group presentation of the research carried out on the research topics; individual presentation of the visual project, plus the workshops).
B) 30% - Assessment of the written work (Portfolio).
C) 20% - Face-to-face index, taking into account the commitment and quality of participation in the theoretical and practical classes.
