Course Overview

It is a totally online course, using web tools and which aims to contribute to the construction of knowledge in different scientific areas relevant to the development of an environmental culture, in a perspective of sustainability; to stimulate the capacity for reflection on some problems in the contemporary world linked to the environmental theme, and to promote the adaptation of students to new situations, namely those arising from paradigm changes; contribute to the development of new sensitivities and new lifestyles; promote the acquisition / development by students of trainer / educator skills in the field of Sustainability; enhance the use of interdisciplinary research methodologies; Allow students to pursue a research path and eventually attend a more advanced training cycle (Master's or PhD with recognition of skills and equivalence of curricular units) or to acquire additional skills for the labour market.

The study program was designed for students with a background on Natural Sciences or Humanities but, given the broad nature of the program, there is no exclusion of areas.
