Course Overview

The Doctoral program in Food Sciences is a program in association between the Faculty of Science and Technology at NOVA and the University of Evora. It fits into the growing relevance of food sector, associated with the challenges of climate change and the future perspectives of needs sustainable global food. It is therefore necessary to develop knowledge and create skills that allow professionals to anticipate global challenges in the upstream and downstream food sector and improve the performance and competitiveness of your products through innovative, intelligent processes
and promoters of sustainable development. The learning objectives specifically meet the Study Cycle Regulations leading to to the Doctorate Degree by both HEIs involved, NOVA and UE

Specific Entry Requirements

To enter a doctoral program, the candidate must comply with at least one
of the conditions expressed in the following paragraphs:
a) Hold, in the scientific area of ??the program or similar, a master's degree, or equivalent
Cool. The candidate must have a minimum final classification of 14 in these
study cycles;
b) Hold, in the scientific area of ??the program or similar, a bachelor's degree and hold
of a particularly relevant academic or scientific curriculum, which is recognized
by the Department Council preponderant in the execution of the study cycle
as certifying the capacity to carry out the same;
c) Hold an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized
by the Department Council preponderant in the execution of the study cycle
as certifying the capacity to carry out the same
