Course Overview

The PhD Program in Biology at the University of Évora stands out for its advanced and integrative training, grounded in research excellence. The overall objective is to empower doctoral students with cutting-edge scientific skills and transversal tools that ensure a competitive and distinct integration into the global labor market. The program proposes a comprehensive and current curriculum that intersects fundamental and emerging areas of biology, such as Biodiversity and Conservation, Functional Biology, Global Change Biology, Aquatic and Marine Biology, Molecular Biology, Plant Protection, and Human Biology, among others.
