Course Overview
Where there are human beings there are gardens associated. The garden is the representation of an ideal, holistic and multifunctional landscape. In these gardens and landscapes production, protection and leisure are integrated and complement each other. Recently, researchers, politicians, urban planners and landscape architects have been giving increasing importance to this multifunctionality, bringing it to the urban space through gardens with aesthetic, ecological and productive concerns, with great potential to contribute to the qualification of a sustainable life.
