Project management toolkit for sustainability is a highly interdisciplinary program focused mainly on bachelor students in all fields of study interested in project management as a tool to address sustainability challenges in their regions.
The team of trainers involved in developing the program comes from various fields: management, marketing, education, engineering, etc. The curriculum is designed with equal input from all teachers involved from the 7 EU GREEN partner universities. We are committed to organizing this BIP yearly, with partners taking turns in the administration of the program - the first edition took place in Oradea, Romania. The curriculum, focused on how to approach critically and creatively sustainability challenges using project management tools, was revised after the first year's experience. It is split into two main directions: students groups developing their projects targeted at solving sustainability/SDG-related challenges, and the other direction Providing students with examples, case studies, and study visits to partners with relevant projects in promoting sustainability and the SDGs (projects from all EU GREEN research clusters will be included and a wide variety of fields of study will be addressed). The topics covered in this module include: 5.1. Interdisciplinarity and team management in projects; 5.2. Writing a project; 5.3. Reviewing a project (including sustainability impact) and 5.4.
