Contents

1 - Approaches in artistic research: diversity of studies of dramatic activities in education
2 - Fields of intervention: educational, experiential and artistic
3 - Different perspectives on theater education: Aesthetic development/ Strategy to facilitate learning/ Pedagogical attitude
4 - Teacher/educator performance in drama: characteristics and profiles
5 - Planning, promoting, organizing and evaluating dramatic activities
6 - Contemporary topics in theater education: inclusion; Gender; Agiing; SustainabiliTy

Teaching Methods

The seminar is presented as an opportunity to deepen and reflect on the theoretical and practical fields of theater education practices and to train future educators/teachers to use them in contemporary educational settings. The organization of the seminar should articulate the investigative dimension and the practical exploration/experimentation of planning, space organization, group and materials of dramatic activity in different scenarios and problems.
It provides for theoretical and practical work, where the reflective and questioning dimension prevails.

Assessment

According to the University of Évora's assessment regulations, continuous assessment and final assessment by exam are provided for.
The continuous assessment of the seminar should therefore consist of:
- Participation in collaborative group research - 30%
- Conception, planning and discussion of a proposal for implementing dramatic action in an educational context - 30%.
- Carrying out a reasoned critical reflection on a theatrical approach/technique/project in an educational intervention context - 40%
