At the end of this course the student should be able to:
- Identify the ideas and guiding principles of the education system
- Analyze the Basic Law on Education for the goals of school education, general structure, organizational
models and school management
- Discuss the issue of territorial decentralization of competencies and its implications for the
administration and school organization model
- Train for the use of monitoring devices and school regulation and interpret indicators systems
- Set goals, measurement indicators and means of verification based on the calculation of the expected
value in similar organizational contexts
- Evaluate the effectiveness of organizational arrangements and establish school improvement action
plans

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies use interpretative exhibition strategies involving students in the analysis of
scenarios from texts, documents, media, videos and the different methods of work as interactive
exhibition, group discussions, case studies, analysis and submission of comments, conducting classroom
activities and work related to the contents in the study. Regular attendance is compulsory the student's
presence in 80% of the sessions witness. Students can choose either to perform continuous evaluation or
exam. Continuous evaluation comprises of 5 classroom work of application of thematic analyzed, with the
same weight each. The exam consists of one final written test.
