Learning Goals
The courses main goal is to provide the specifics of acting techniques for the camera (film and television), as opposed to the theatre. The student is supposed to acquire the relevant technical vocabulary, a technical sense of the setting, the basic principles of acting for the camera, as well as a familiarity with scripts.
Contents will include: film viewing focusing on the actors work; script analysis and preparation for shooting; shooting, viewing and critical analysis of scenes.
