Learning Goals

- Consolidate the development of a project through the progressive deepening of the technical and operative
capacities in order to develop a customized graphical language;
- Search, reflect and experiment through the drawing demonstrating the mastery of the operating processes of
the Drawing;
- Reflecting on the objectivity and poetics of drawing by the drawing process itself;
- Learning methodologies of research through drawing reflection and experimentation;
- Documentation of the creative process;
- Study of body drawing throughout the history of art and reflection about the role of the artist as cultural agent
that creates a critical discourse.

Contents

Creation of a methodology that enables the student to acquire skills for the development of a personalized
contemporary artistic practice:
Continuation of the study of the language of drawing in the context of contemporary artistic practices characterized
by the interpenetration of disciplinary boundaries, taking into account the references used in a project. It is
also important to emphasize the importance of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity of themes, as well as
the confluence of several areas of knowledge that may, eventually, inform a project.

Teaching Methods

The program consists of exercises, theoretical presentations of the contents and study visits. The evaluation is continuous taking into account: attendance; commitment; creativity; evolution, and; knowledge domain. There will be a continuous evaluation and a final assessment evaluated by a jury composed of the subject teacher and teachers of the course.

In the NORMAL SEASON assessment students can opt for the Continuous Evaluation or Final Evaluation schemes. The RECOURSE, SPECIAL and EXTRAORDINARY seasons are governed by the Final Evaluation scheme.

1. CONTINUOUS EVALUATION:
a) Participation in classes: 20%;
b) Work done in the classes with the teacher follow-up and submitted at least to a periodic evaluation: 40 %;
c) Presentation and defense of the work done during classes: 40%.

2. FINAL EVALUATION:
a) Work done in the classes with the teacher follow-up: 40%;
b) Exam about the subject contents: 60%.
