Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

This course stems from the objective that for a better knowledge of history and architecture it is necessary to obtain a more comprehensive perspective of the multicultural factors that influence the various conceptual methods and appropriation of space (urban, domestic, religious). The architectures of the South and the Mediterranean are an example of permanence and adaptation to different cultures and religions, associating a constructive tradition with a geometric erudition of rare precision and aesthetic sense. This course explores the intersection of the areas of history, architecture, archaeology and design.
The UC is based on four main objectives:
1. Recognition of the characteristics of urban spaces in cities of the Islamic period;
