Preceding the contents taught in the Advanced Industrial Project I, the objective of the curricular unit is to deepen the development of previous semester project.
- To deepen the development of the capacities of problematization, research, substantiation, conception, development and validation of concepts;
- To develop the student's skills and competences at the level of transposition of concepts for design solutions;
- To develop a deepening of student interest in research.

Contents
1. Critical analysis of results achieved in the previous semester. Review and validation of assumptions. 2. Transposition of concept (s) to hypotheses of design solutions.
3. Modal analysis of failures and constraints.
4. Setting goals, specifications and fundamentals.
5. Project development.
6. Systematization and reporting of results.

Teaching Methods
Classes will be conducted through the sharing and discussion of knowledge and through the promotion of debates on the topics covered in each class. Students will also be assisted in applying their knowledge to a theoretical-practical project.
Assessment
In the REGULAR SESSION period, students can choose between two assessment methods: Continuous Assessment or Final Assessment.
1. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT METHOD
Assessment components:
Class participation: 20%;
Work developed during time with teacher supervision, which must be submitted to at least one periodic assessment with public disclosure of grades: 40%;
Presentation and defense of the work developed during class, which takes place during the "Regular Session Assessments" period: 40%.
2. FINAL ASSESSMENT METHOD
Work developed during time with teacher supervision: 40%;
Taking an exam based on the content taught: 60%.
