Student Mobility

MOBILITY PROCESS PROPOSAL

After receiving your letter of acceptance, you must log in to the UÉ Integrated Information System and upload your mobility proposal, together with the following documents:

  • Learning Agreement  (for mobility for studies)
  • Training Agreement  (for mobility for training)

If you are on mobility for studies, you must submit the Learning Agreement, indicating the start and end date of the mobility period, as well as all the curricular units/subjects to be taken at the University of Évora and the equivalent curricular units/subjects from your home institution.

You must attend at least 50% of the ECTS credits part of the course study plan you want to take, but may also attend curricular units/subjects of other ongoing courses.

The learning agreement must include no more than 36 ECTS credits per semester, and at least 18 ECTS credits.

ACCEPTANCE LETTER

You will only receive the Acceptance Letter after the Learning Agreement or Training Agreement (in the case of ICM Programme/Projects) is signed by all parties involved (University of Évora, home institution, and student), which must done before the mobility period begins. Original copies of the documents do not need to be sent for signature; scanned and electronic signatures are accepted.

LINGUISTIC SUPPORT

The University of Évora offers a “Portuguese Language Course” to incoming students based on their level of knowledge.

ERASMUS STUDENT NETWORK ÉVORA (ESN ÉVORA)

ESN Évora  is part of the International Exchange Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the largest non-profit student association in Europe whose main purpose is to provide information to mobility students and help them adapt and be integrated in the country and community in which they live. 

ACCOMMODATION

The university residences offered by the University of Évora are available only for students in a proven vulnerable financial position, conditional on the submission of documents that must be attached to the application (financial hardship statement and statement indicating the amount of the mobility grant awarded). The residences have twin rooms and shared bathrooms and kitchens.

While you look for private accommodation, we recommend that you make a provisional reservation for your first few days in Évora at a hotel, hostel or guest house.
