Course Overview

This program aims to develop abilities, skills and methods in the field of philosophy; conceive, design and develop research in philosophy respecting standards of academic quality. To be able to develop independent work that represent an original contribution to the general state of knowledge in a given field of philosophy and could be disseminated in refereed publications; develop communication skills with the other members of the philosophical community and with society in general within the specialization domain of philosophy, promoting the ability to put these competences at the service of a knowledge-based society, contributing to a critical reflection on the personal and collective implications of technological progress and cultural development, or to undertake the public application of knowledge at the level of professional intervention.
