The Almeida Garrett Programme is an internal mobility programme for public university students, enabling them to carry out a period of studies, with full academic recognition, at one of the Portuguese Higher Education Institutions in the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP) .
The Programme promotes quality and enhances the national dimension in higher education, encouraging national cooperation between higher education institutions, fostering national mobility in higher education, and improving transparency and the academic recognition of studies and qualifications in Portugal.
