		     The aim is to provide an overview of the current state of scientific knowledge in the field of Mathematics, through contact with concrete research projects and sharing experiences with active researchers.

Contents
		  		      - Presentations made by the institutional faculty and CIMA-UÉ researchers, and by external guest researchers, to publicize their research areas.
- Presentations by 4th semester students on themes of their dissertations.
- Presentation of software for research in Mathematics (LaTex, free software for numerical and symbolic computations).

Teaching Methods
		  		      Presentations by the institutional faculty and/or external guests, on various topics that may be of interest for the dissertation/internship of students.
Students must to attend at least 50% of the seminars and choose at least two topics to prepare, under supervision, a monograph on each of these. The final grade will be the arithmetic average of the ratings obtained in the two monographs.
