Teaching Methods
The professor presents the theoretical concepts, definitions, methodologies, and case studies, drawing on the analysis of texts, images, cartography, artefacts/ecofacts, and digital resources. Sessions are complemented by students? active engagement through a dialogical approach to learning and/or by the organisation of debates involving students. In addition to the case studies presented by the instructor, specialists may be invited to enrich the content and the programme?s diversity, thereby adapting the syllabus to students? main interests and contributing to a stronger articulation between teaching and research.
Assessment
Continuous assessment, consisting of a written assignment (30%), an in-class presentation and discussion (50%), plus attendance and participation in classes or other training events (20%), or through a Final Exam (100%).
