Teaching Methods
Strategies that stimulate the personal and professional development of health professionals will be prioritised, based on work that stimulates clinical reasoning and skills training, through interactive discussion of clinical cases using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology. Discussion and reflection on clinical cases that contribute to better application of knowledge and understanding of people with diabetic foot syndrome will be encouraged. The content taught by an expert in clinical practice is intended to contribute to the development of specific assessment and decision-making skills regarding the different therapeutic options. This course, supported by the MedTech-Next Project, includes the use of advanced technological resources, namely digital environments and technological platforms applied to training. As an e-learning course, online sessions will be held (10 hours: 8T; 2OT). The assessment method for the course is continuous assessment, with participants taking part in the sessions and carrying out the proposed activities. The final assessment consists of an individual Moodle Platform test (100 per cent) in which the student cannot score less than 10 on a scale of 0 to 20.
Assessment
