Teaching Methods
This is an annual curricular unit, which includes moments of participant observation for contact and understanding of the educational context and teaching sequences of classes in 3rd cycle and secondary education classes. PES activities involve pedagogical practice, professional
learning in conjunction with the themes to be worked on in the development of the curriculum, autonomous study and reflective practice based on field notes or diaries and participatory discussion, based on research carried out in the area of didactics as well as on published studies based on research-action.

Assessment
Formative assessment is the preferred modality, being participated by students and supervisors in moments of cooperative supervision, culminating with the elaboration of the PES report. Summative assessment has two components: PES performance rating developed in schools - 65%; classification resulting from the Jury's appreciation of the PES Report and its public discussion 35%.
