? Apply the main theoretical concepts and methodologies of socio-educational intervention in contexts of social vulnerability.
? Conduct accurate diagnoses of social and educational issues in specific territories, using appropriate data collection and analysis tools.
? Develop socio-educational projects that directly respond to identified community needs, whilst respecting the ethical principles of social intervention.
? Design the implementation of participatory methodologies that promote active involvement of beneficiaries in the design, implementation and evaluation of intervention projects.
? Select and apply appropriate methods and instruments to monitor and evaluate the impact of developed socio-educational projects.
? Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and inter-institutional teams, demonstrating communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills to develop integrated social interventions.

1. Fundamentals of socioeducational intervention in vulnerable contexts;
2. Aspects of diagnosis and assessment of social and educational needs;
3. Stages and procedures for designing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating intervention projects;
4. Participatory methodologies and community collaboration;
5. Best practices and case studies in socioeducational intervention projects;
6. Ethics and challenges of socioeducational intervention.

Teaching Methods

The teaching and learning process will take place within the framework of collective sessions characterised by extensive student participation, employing project-based methodology and problem-solving approaches that encompass:
? Analysis and discussion of case studies derived from actual intervention projects;
? Fieldwork for conducting diagnostic assessment(s) and formulating project proposals;
? Seminars/Conferences featuring specialists in the field of socio-educational intervention;
? Development of a reality-based socio-educational intervention project targeting contexts of vulnerability.

Assessment

Two assessment modalities are possible. The most encouraged is continuous assessment, which includes different components:
? Individual work: preparation of a social and educational diagnosis (20% of the Final Classification - FC)
? Group work: design of an intervention project (50% FC)
? Oral presentation of the project (20% FC)
? Active participation in classes (10% FC).
A Final Evaluation is also provided, consisting of an individual written test (100%).
