Explore the cultural, aesthetic and phenomenological dimensions of landscape.
Types of spaces that integrate the universe of landscape heritage.
The landscape as cultural representation exploring themes such as:
- Identity Dimension
- Heritage Dimension of the Landscape (Cultural and Natural)
- Landscape Restoration
- Concepts, Philosophies and Methodologies for the Restoration of Historic Gardens
- Threats to the Integrity of Historic Gardens
- National and International Standards (Framework)

Teaching Methods
Classes will be a combination of lectures and studios and the students will be required to submit a monograph on a topic of their choice at the end of the term.
An inclusive and integrative teaching methodology is proposed which aims to combat the sectoral and fragmented approach to landscape heritage knowledge.
In relation to the percentages of each evaluation element, the following allocation is proposed:
- Continuous assessment regime: attendance and participation in the continuous assessment work (30%) +monograph (70%)
- Exam : written test (100%)
